Year in Review

The past 14 months have been filled with life changes that have left me floating just short of new adventures. I became engaged on December 1, 2008, was accepted into a PhD program in February, 2009, graduated with an M.A. in May, began the PhD program in June, in September I decided that the PhD program wasn’t the right step for me at this time, left the PhD program in December, got married in January, and have since been looking for a job.

Currently I’m working on some product samples for a children’s textile line that I hope to launch by the end of the year. I enjoyed all the design work I was able to do for the wedding prep (I’ll post photos soon), and I’m excited to combine my love of graphics and textiles (I feel like I’m writing a cover letter…).

I just purchsed www.leonardsays.com

My original plan was to use the site I already own (www.pearlsandgold.com), but I hate that it reads “Pearl Sand Gold” rather then “Pearls and Gold” (which was taken from an AIH lyric that I love).

So, instead I’ve gone with the title of a Brunettes’ song that reads like it should be a VU song.
